The festival takes place every year during the first weekend of September in the village of Portpatrick in the Mull of Galloway. As well as scheduled concerts in the village hall, the festival is renowned for its lively pub sessions, where musicians and music lovers alike gather to enjoy whatever songs and tunes are brought to the table.
